Bishop Kariyil appointed Rev Fr Shaiju Pariyathusserry as the new Vicar General of the Diocese. Fr Shaiju brings a wealth of experience to the position of Vicar General, as he had been rendering his commendable service as the Chancellor of the Diocese for the past five years and he has ministered on several parishes as the Vicar.
He hails from St. Antony’s Church, Kannamaly, and his parents are late Mr. Varghese and Celine. He is the brother of Rev Dr. Raphy Pariysthussery, who is the present parish priest of St. Joseph’s Church, Madhuracompany, Palluruthy. He has three more brothers Benny, Daskunju and Mathew.
Rev Msgr Peter Chadayangad for having served as the Vicar General of the Diocese since 2015, now appointed as the parish priest of St. Joseph Bethlahem Church, Chullickal, one of the Pilgrim Center's in the Diocese.
